Polaris Dawn astronauts successfully returned to Earth
SpaceX's Polaris Dawn astronauts have returned to Earth after a historic five-day mission. The Dragon capsule landed on the Florida coast of the United States on Sunday (September 15) with a total of four astronauts, including two amateur astronauts.
In a message on social media, SpaceX said, 'Dragon has landed! Welcome back to the earth. NASA said the mission was a "major advance" for the commercial space travel industry.
Last Tuesday (September 10) from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA, these four astronauts left for space aboard the Falcon-9 rocket of the technology entrepreneur Elon Musk's SpaceX. Upon reaching space, they boarded SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule.
After reaching the orbit last Thursday (September 12), the two astronauts of the Polaris Dawn mission walked in space for the first time. This historical event was live streamed on various channels.
